Good Saturday folks and thanks for dropping by the blog. It is another day of tracking storms across the state as a cold front finally sweeps across the region. This is likely to spawn more strong and severe storms that can cause some issues before a very welcome change moves in for the next few days.

Let’s give you a quick breakdown of the weekend…

– Scattered storms will be likely much of today and any storm can go severe with damaging winds and large hail possible.

– A more pronounced line of showers and storms will be possible later this afternoon into the evening hours as a cold front moves in. Another round of severe storms will be possible.

– Any storm that goes up today can put down a whole lot of water in a short amount of time. This can lead to local high water concerns.

– This front will usher in a refreshing change for Sunday into Monday as our temps come WAY down. Highs in the upper 70s and low 80s will be likely with much lower humidity. The NAM is really digging this cool shot…

– Lows Monday into Tuesday will dip into the low and mid 50s.

Back to the here and now and the threat for strong or severe storms today. We have you hooked up with the usual tools of tracking…
