Good Sunday to one and all. Our weekend is wrapping up with temps warming up a bit as we try to get closer to normal for this time of year. I can’t lie…the temps out there today are right up my alley and the forecast for the week ahead calls for more of the same. Is there a price to be paid with some showers and storms?

Today will start off with a disturbance working across the region and this may keep a lingering shower going for some areas. Skies will turn partly sunny during the afternoon and temps hit the middle 70s for most of the region. Some high 70s will be possible in the west.

Monday appears to be the warmest day of the next week with highs from 80-85. Winds will increase ahead of a system diving in here from the northwest. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will be around later Monday into Tuesday as the weak low pressure works through. The GFS shows what your weather dude is talking about…

This will force another shot of cooler air to move back in for the middle and end of the week. The European Model keeps most of the eastern half of the country on the below normal side of things…

Like I said… I could get used to these temps! 😉

Have a sensational Sunday and take care.
