Good afternoon, everybody. Low clouds continue to be stubborn out there today and that’s helping keep some temps from getting out of the 50s as this chilly pattern settles in. Another cold front is on the way for early October with a bigger system set to impact the weather late this weekend and early next week.

As mentioned, areas of clouds are keeping temps in the mid and upper 50s for the better part of the afternoon. Normal temps for today are in the low and mid 70s so I giggle when I see weather twitter refer to this as “a little cooler”. This from the same group that refers to 85-90 temps on the 4th of July as hot… even though that’s the normal range for the day. Perspective is lost.  🙂

Outside of the clouds, highs will reach 60-65 for the most part.

A shower or two will be possible under the clouds and your radars are ready to find them for ya…

Wednesday looks like a really nice fall day with temps 65-70 on a gusty wind ahead of our next front. That front drops in here on Thursday and brings a broken band of showers with it. It also has even colder air behind it into Friday and we could even see a shower or two go up Friday…

Temps behind this drop into the 30s for lows Friday and Saturday and highs may stay in the 50s again on Friday. Saturday will be a close call on the 50s.

The next system then works in here later Sunday and Monday, but we do find some timing differences in the models. Regardless, this looks like another healthy wind, rain and chill maker…

That could give us another day in the 50s for highs.

Enjoy the rest of this day and take care.
