Good evening, folks. Our gorgeous weather rolls on through Monday, but those big changes are just around the corner as a strong cold front blasts in here next week. That will be the first of several systems to move our way, bringing rounds of showers and storms and a more typical November temp pattern.
The overall pattern across the country is going to the extreme with record highs in the plains and east, a blizzard in the Rockies and Tropical Storm ETA heading toward Florida.
Let’s start with the blizzard and go from there. Take our exclusive interactive radar for a trip out west to follow this wild blast of winter as it develops in Montana and Wyoming…
Tropical Storm ETA continues to track toward Cuba and then will cross south Florida into the Gulf of Mexico. From there, this likely hugs the Gulf Coast of Florida through the upcoming week…
The Hurricane Models continue to then take this back across Florida…
What does all this mean for us? We aren’t likely to get any kind of direct impact from ETA, but some offshoot tropical moisture will be possible ahead of the first front on Tuesday. Some heavy rainfall is likely with this into Wednesday. Seasonal temps come in behind this front. Another system will then make a run at us by next weekend with much colder air behind it.
The EURO shows all this very well…
The Canadian has a similar view…
Enjoy the rest of the evening and take care.
