Good evening, everyone. Colder winds continue to blow from the northwest as we make the transition to periods of light snow and flurries. This stuff can put down some very light accumulations across central and eastern Kentucky through Thursday evening. Some festive flakes? Yes, please! ❄❄

Let me kick things off with an update on the site changes. We continue to migrate to a new server, so you’re noticing some issues still. Some certificates are changing and that has temporally caused some browsers not to work on the site. Hang tough for another day and all is well.

I have no changes to the forecast for light accumulations showing up through Thursday evening. Many areas will see coatings to upwards of an inch in some spots, especially in the mountains. You can see that here on the late day Canadian…

Temps drop into the 20s tonight so we have to watch for some black ice developing. Watch for slick spots.

The weekend system continues to look a touch colder bringing a slightly better chance for some snow to show up with the rain…

That’s all you crazy kids get for this update. I’ll hook ya up with a bigger update later tonight. Until then, take the interactive radar on a tour of the mega-snowstorm in the northeast… Or you can track the light snow and flurries around here….

Enjoy the evening and take care.
