Good Sunday and Happy Easter, everyone. It’s a gorgeous holiday in the making across the Commonwealth as sunny skies and mild temps take control of our pattern. As we head into the first full week of April, temps turn even warmer before storms start to flex some spring muscle for the second half of the week.
Temps out there today reach 65-70 for most of the state with a few low 70s possible in the west. For Easter Sunday, it doesn’t get much better than this so soak it up.
Monday looks like a really warm day with low and middle 70s for most of the state as southwest winds continue to warm us up. This wind is blowing ahead of a stormy setup ready to blow in here for the remainder of the week and it may last right on into the coming weekend.
Temps may flirt with 80 at some point Tuesday or Wednesday before storms get in here. We will need to watch for a few strong to severe storms late Wednesday into Thursday as the first system rolls through. Another system or two will follow that up and the models seem to all have a good handle…

Make it a wonderful Easter Sunday and take care.
I wish I could start my small garden this week.
History reads that there will be another cold snap.
To be absolutely safe, plant your garden after the 15th of May. By then the soil will be warm enough for proper germination and rooting of young plant sets like tomatoes.
Can’t trust the weather in April.
Happy Easter to All.
I was thinking that maybe I could stagger some plants. Ex. Tomato. I usually grow three vines.
I was thinking maybe I could have one plant start producing in early July.
Just wait until after Derby Day and you’re good to go.
Sounds like a plan. I’d try it.
