Good Sunday, folks. As we continue to steam through this early summer preview of a pattern, it’s time to start looking farther down the road toward Memorial Day Weekend. Changes are showing up as we get closer to the unofficial kickoff to summer and it’s looking like storm chances are going to show up.
Between now and then, temps continue to be on the summer side of the thermometer. Highs today into Monday are generally in the mid to upper 80s. A local hot spot may see a 90 during this time.
The threat for a few storms will then show up by the time we make our way into Tuesday and Wednesday. This is when the overall pattern looks much more active than the one we are in and this looks to continue through Memorial Day weekend and the start of June…

One has to assume we will see some thunderstorm action out of all this, but can we actually get some severe weather? If not, this may go down as the least amount of severe weather we have ever had during spring in Kentucky.
This also looks to be a much cooler pattern and may send our temps back below normal for a bit.
Have a great day and take care.
Not having severe weather is a good thing right ?
Maybe some rain showers later next week, but not everyone will receive such.
Dry weather is helping the Farmers and Gardeners to sow and plant their crops. Hopefully, we will receive enough rainfall through the growing season to have a bountiful harvest ?
Thousands of wild Blackberries are now in full bloom in my field.
