Good afternoon, folks. Our big storm system continues to spin across the region, bringing rounds of rain with it. This will be the case into Saturday before things clean up just in time for Halloween. As we head into early November, the pattern keeps looking interesting as signs of some winter weather show up.

The rains out there today continue to spin counterclockwise around low pressure. As the low pulls slowly to our east, we will notice  the action becoming more widespread tonight and into Saturday. This is when things turn pretty dreary as winds switch around from the north.

Your radars are hard at work tracking the rounds of rain…

The setup as we head into next week continues to look like one straight out of early winter. A cold front moves in late Monday and Tuesday then slows down. Much colder air settles in here behind it as low pressure develops along the front and rides eastward. There are still lots of questions to be answered with this setup and the models are doing their best to figure it out, but they have a general trend they continue to show.

The Canadian and EURO continue to show the potential for some flakes showing up with the rain for the middle and end of next week…
