Good Friday, everyone. It’s another active weather day taking shape across the region as a potent storm system swings through the Ohio Valley. This will bring the threat for strong to severe storms in here during the afternoon and evening with chilly winds blowing behind this.

The Storm Prediction Center has much of the region in the severe weather risk today…

Damaging winds and large hail are the main players, but a tornado or two can’t be ruled out in the west.

The actual cold front moves through here tonight with wraparound showers showing up for Saturday…

That’s a cold northwest wind blowing in with temps staying in the 40s for some…

Temps hit the 70s early next week ahead of another strong storm system rolling in here from the west. This will bring showers and storms with it by later Tuesday and Wednesday ahead of a deepening trough likely to sweep into the region. The models are going toward a big trough across the east later next week…

That’s a cold pattern and one #TeamSpring doesn’t want. 😡

I will try to drop by for an update later today. Until then, here are your tracking tools for the day…
