Good Thursday, folks. Scattered showers and storms are rolling across the state today as a weak front gets in and checks up. Once this heads back to the north as a warm front, it’s game on toward a very warm pattern for the weekend. Next week is an entirely different story. Blah.

Let’s start this blog party by talking about the precious present and those pesky showers and storms. This action isn’t too widespread with the greatest concentration in the north and west. Here are your radars for the day…

The scattered stuff slows down this afternoon with a mix of sun and clouds trying to take over. Temps reach the 60s in most areas with a 70 in the west and south.

Temps surge toward early summer readings starting on Friday and heading into the upcoming weekend. Highs go from the middle 70s to low 80s depending on where you are on Friday. Most of the state tops out from 80-85 Saturday and Sunday.

With sunny skies, this is a full blown Pasty Legs ALERT!!! 😎🌞

A strong cold front is still on schedule to arrive on Monday with showers and storms becoming likely…

That introduces another colder than normal pattern with frost and freezing temps possible before next week is over.

This is a good signal for much colder than normal air setting up shop for the end of the month into early May. Take a look at the 10 day departures from average…

I wasn’t kidding back in January and February when I told you to prepare for another colder than normal spring.

I’m going to be doing more summer talk over the next few weeks, but you guys already know where I’m probably going with it. 😜

Have a great Thursday and take care.
