Good evening, folks. We are putting the wraps on a dreary and chilly day across Kentucky with low clouds, drizzle and temps struggling to get past 50. As we look ahead, it’s all eyes on the next system moving in for Halloween weekend.
We know the next few days are nice, so let’s skip ahead to the next storm.
This impacts our weather from Saturday evening/night through Halloween night. Showers and some thunderstorms rumble through here during this time with some pretty good rain totals showing up.
As usual, the models disagree on placement and totals, but it should be a fairly good rain event for most of the area. Take a look at what the individual models are spitting out…
The heaviest rain looks to fall Saturday night through Sunday night. That means Halloween shouldn’t have the worst of this system, but scattered showers and gusty winds look rather common for trick-or-treaters.
Looking farther down the road into early November we find some of the operational models trying to swing some troughs in here by late next week into the following weekend…

Enjoy your evening and take care.
