Good evening and Happy Halloween. As the little ones make the candy rounds across our region, we continue to track a scattering of showers and some thunderstorms. This continues to be part of a pattern that’s revving up over the next few weeks.
Again, the evening showers and storms are fairly scattered with many areas not seeing much at all. Here are your trick or treating radars to help you along…
There is still a small chance for a shower or two for the middle of the week, but it’s the weekend system that has the chance for showers and thunderstorms. The models are coming into better focus on bringing this through here on Sunday…

As expected, the tropics are alive with that system in the Caribbean now named Lisa…
That heads toward Mexico and is not the system of interest this weekend and early next week. That one develops around the Bahamas and lumbers around for several days, blocking up the pattern across the country.
The EURO continues to try to bring that deep trough from the west to the east and tries catch that system around Florida into next week…
It now has the GFS trying to do the same…
Interesting and we shall see.
Have a great rest of your Halloween and take care.
