Good evening, everyone. What an absolutely dreary day it is out there. If we are going to have a cold rain and mist, it might as well be snow. Right? We do have some flakes in the forecast over the next few days as a system zips across the Ohio Valley.

This will bring colder air with it as flurries and some snow showers develop late tonight into Wednesday. This isn’t constant stuff at all, but some streaks of snow showers and even the chance for a few snow ssqualls.

Those show up on the future radar from the HRRR…

The new Hi Res NAM also shows those and even has an enhanced band showing up late Wednesday evening…

We know about the cold pattern we have, so I have nothing new to add as this hangs through the weekend.

The models do show some ridging showing up by Tuesday and Wednesday of next week before another trough digs through Thanksgiving Weekend. The Ensembles are in good agreement on this…

That’s likely to result of a nice sized storm system that can bring rain in here for Thanksgiving and Black Friday with the chance for flakes later in the weekend.

I leave you with your radars to track what’s out there this evening…

Make it a great evening and take care.
