Good evening, folks. We continue to track areas of light snow across the state as we get set to change the pattern later this week into the start of the new year. A lot of rain is on the way in the coming days.

My time is short, so let’s get after it.

Light snow continues to show up in batches. Light accumulations continue and this may cause additional slick spots to develop. Here are your radars to follow along…

Don’t forget to go to our weathercams page to watch the snow fly at different locations across the state: Weathercams

A series of storms will roll through here starting this weekend and taking us into the first week of the new year. All the models agree on this and this pattern will likely drop a lot of rain around here…

You can see how that final low moves farther south and east as winter starts to flex again. That flex really kicks into high gear during the second week of January, likely going toward another harsh period right in the heart of winter.

Before then, though, we get a lot of rain…

Enjoy the rest of the evening and take care.
