Good afternoon, folks. It’s a very windy Sunday in the Bluegrass state as temps continue to climb deep into the 50s. These milder winds will continue to blow into much of the week ahead as the pattern turns back to active.

The next few days are very windy as we wait on a cold front to arrive in here later Tuesday. That brings in a broken line of showers before it slows down, allowing a big storm system to bring widespread rain in here for Wednesday and early Thursday…

The system coming in behind threatens to bring some winter weather into the region by Friday and Saturday. The extent of that winter weather remains to be seen as the models flip around on a full blown storm or just some wraparound snow showers.
