Good evening, folks. It’s a chilly and wet evening for much of the region as our temps are running 40 degrees colder than 24 hours ago. The chill lingers into the start of the Easter Weekend, with milder winds set to follow.
The showers out there this evening will slowly taper off, but it’s still rather nasty. Here are your radars…
The threat for a few showers will hang tough across areas of southern and eastern Kentucky Friday and early Saturday. This map shows the areas more likely to see some additional chilly showers during this time…
Temps are mainly in the 50s for Friday. Saturday will see temps staying in the 50s across the far southeast as clouds hang tough. Farther north and west, some sun comes out allowing temps to reach the low 60s.
Easter Sunday looks really good with temps in the 60s for highs…
The pattern much of next week looks really good with warm temps moving in for the middle and end of the week. There’s also the risk for a few showers and storms coming from that cutoff low in the southeast…
Enjoy the rest of the evening and take care.
Thanks Chris. Been dripping rain all day here in Maple. Hoping for a beautiful Easter Sunday.
Finally, no end-of-week storm system with high winds and/or strong storms, rain, snow, or excessive cold for the first time in what seems like weeks.
