Good evening, everyone. Rounds of snow showers and flurries are rolling across the region as another arctic front blasts in. This won’t have the staying power nor the intensity as the last several, with temps jumping up by the weekend.
Light accumulations are a good bet this evening into tonight across parts of central and eastern Kentucky. These coatings to local half inch amounts may cause slick spots on area roads, so keep that in mind.

Temps go well above freezing over the weekend and this carries us into the first half of next week. That is ahead of a cold front dropping into the region later Wednesday and Thursday. That may touch off some snow showers in the north and east with a quick drop in temps for a couple of days behind it.
