Good Friday, everyone. We have a rather anti summer looking pattern taking shape across the region over the next week or so. This will feature a dip in the jet stream with an upper level low hovering on top of us for a few days. Throw those two together and you get more rounds of showers and thunderstorms to go along with pleasant temps.
A scattering of thunderstorms will roll across the region today as we watch the northwestern ky. Stop me if you’ve heard that one before. Some of these storms may become strong with a shot at isolated severe weather. Here’s your regional radar to track the action…
Highs today will top out in the low to middle 80s.
Temps will drop this weekend with highs in the upper 70s for Saturday and Sunday for much of the region. This happens as an upper level low digs into the Ohio Valley…
Spokes of energy will rotate around this low and that means rounds of showers and thunderstorms will flare up. These storms may also be on the strong side and contain very heavy rainfall.
The pattern for next week will feature… wait for it… wait for it… scattered showers and thunderstorms with temps in the low 80s for highs.
Make it a great day and take care.

Storm firing just west of Bloomington Indiana might nail some one in nCentral KY this evening if it holds together?
It is what it is…looks like Chris has predicted the pattern correctly, this time. 😉
