Good Friday to one and all. The weather we have out there today into the weekend just cannot get much better than this. I’m gonna keep this one pretty short and simple because I want you guys to get outside and enjoy the awesomeness.
Temps today will top out in the upper 60s to around 70 for central and eastern Kentucky with 70-75 in the west.
Near record lows will be possible by Saturday morning as lows drop into the low 40s for parts of the area. Similar temps will be noted on Sunday morning.
Afternoon highs over the weekend will feature a lot of 60s on Saturday with middle 70s by Sunday. That’s when some high clouds begin to push in here.
That will lead us into a pattern that tries to turn a little stormy for the middle and end of next week. Check out what the GFS is doing…
I talked yesterday about keeping an eye on the Gulf of Mexico for some tropical action. Several of the latest runs of the GFS are trying to get something going down there in a little over a week from now…
Have a great day and take care.
Love it! Best time of year!
Great weather out their, GO BIG BLUE!
@ Chris
Do you really think something’s wrong with the BGA temp measurements? It seems about right today, although on those hot days it was a bit off from the mesonet site………
