Merry Christmas, gang. You guys are my weather family and I am thankful for each of you. We may disagree from time to time, but that’s what happens with a family. I hope each of you are enjoying this blessed day.
I wanted to drop off a couple of gifts from the European and the GFS models. Each of them are showing some serious winter weather in the first week of the new year…
European
GFS
They differ on the exact times, but they are both singing a similar tune… a winter storm followed by bitterly cold temps of well below 0.
Extreme events are more than possible as we roll forward into January. Will it include a major winter storm AND bitterly cold? Only one of the two? Time will tell, but both options are fully on the table.
Merry Christmas and take care.
Merry Christmas Chris and to everyone! Maybe we will get that illusive big snow!
come on Chris this is not April’s Fool day.
Merry Christmas Chris Thanks for the dedication and the entertainment value I receive from reading your blog.
Merry Christmas to everyone. Bring on the storm.
That would truly be a great Xmas present… Winter finally
Merry Christmas Chris.
Merry Christmas
Wow – I guess we will soon find out….
It’s happened before……..it can happen again. ….. Who knows? But what better month for it to happen than in January?
