Good Saturday everyone and welcome to a day that is gonna sizzle! Temps Friday hit the low and middle 90s across the entire state and we will tilt those readings more toward the middle 90s today. The good news is a cold front is going to cut the heat off later Sunday before it can get out of control.

The 3H weather will be with us today as temps head into the middle 90s. Throw in high humidity levels and the “feel like” temp today will range from 100-105 in many areas. Western parts of the state can get closer to 110 before all is said and done. These readings are taking us into the danger category so please slow down and take it easy if you are going to be outdoors today.

Once again… you can track the heat here…

Looking down the road for next week and beyond… periodic thunderstorms will likely be with us and I can see how we can get ourselves into another period that would bring another round of flash flooding or two.

Bonnie made landfall across south Florida as a weak Tropical Storm Friday afternoon. It is barely a depression in the gulf and the Hurricane Center thinks it will refire into a storm again before making a second landfall later tonight. Here is the latest from them…
