Good Friday, everyone. Our small break in the stormy pattern is just about up so get out and enjoy today. Scattered showers and storms are set to return as we head into the weekend. That action will stick around through much of next week and will help keep our temps normal to below normal.

Most areas will see a mix of sun and clouds today with highs back into the mid and upper 70s. Isolated showers and storms will try to develop across the west and south, again.

The threat for storms will increase from southwest to northeast on Saturday as moisture pushes back in. It looks like most areas will see some storms by Saturday night…

GFSRounds of showers and storms will carry us through Sunday with a few strong storms and heavy rains a good bet. The pattern into early next week will feature a cutoff low spinning across the Ohio Valley…GFS 3That will aid in the development of showers and storms into much of next week. The GFS continues to spit out some impressive rainfall numbers for the week ahead…

GFS 2The Canadian Model shows a similar theme…
