Good Friday, everyone. Our small break in the stormy pattern is just about up so get out and enjoy today. Scattered showers and storms are set to return as we head into the weekend. That action will stick around through much of next week and will help keep our temps normal to below normal.
Most areas will see a mix of sun and clouds today with highs back into the mid and upper 70s. Isolated showers and storms will try to develop across the west and south, again.
The threat for storms will increase from southwest to northeast on Saturday as moisture pushes back in. It looks like most areas will see some storms by Saturday night…
Rounds of showers and storms will carry us through Sunday with a few strong storms and heavy rains a good bet. The pattern into early next week will feature a cutoff low spinning across the Ohio Valley…

Hey, notice the blue hole over Kentucky on the last rainfall map? I’m guessing that’s where Todd lives because it overlaps Franklin County just about. I have had my temporary fill with the storms 2 days ago when I got 2 inches of rain. I just hope we get some widespread storms or mini droughts will start forming around the area. Other than that, the weather for graduation today looks perfect!
Yep, that will be my part of frankfort, west frankfort got 2 inches of rain the same time we got our .40!

Thanks Chris. Wow! Sounds like wet and wooly for the next week. Today sure is beautiful though. When I went to lunch our temp was 80 degrees, but the breeze and low humidity made it feel absolutely perfect! Going to enjoy all of it that I can for the rest of the day.
