Nothing approaching central KY, the big fade and split has already taken place!

Just got back from walking the dogs and a lot of lawns are turning a nice shade of Texas brown. I’m coming up on 4 weeks without a drop of rain. It’s certainly not that way all over town, some areas had some good rain last week, mine just wasn’t one of them.

starting to believe that model rainfall totals are as dubious as nam projecting snowfall totals.

I agree. There has been a chance of rain, in many cases very high chances, for nearly everyday over the past few weeks and I haven’t seen a drop. It’s especially troublesome this time of year when the sun is at it’s most direct. You get into a feedback loop where dry ground breeds warmer temperatures which breeds even more dry ground. I’m hopeful that something will come this week but not confident that anything will come.

Western Tennessee has been getting hammered with widespread heavy rains the last couple of weeks, we just can’t get a widespread cluster to move across this state it seems?

Chris sounds a bit raspy, hoping he isn’t ill, get some rest mister.
