Good Sunday everyone. As you could tell from my lack of Saturday updates… I am not around a computer very much this weekend. Showers and storms went severe in a few places to go along with torrential rains that caused some flash flooding. The bulk of the activity was across the south. The trend of showers and storms will be with us again today into Monday.
The risk for a few strong or severe storms will be with us during this time. The threat for heavy rains may end up being the biggest threat over the next few days. We have a very wet ground and with heavy rains a certainty… more high water problems could be noted. You can follow today’s action here…
The showers and storms will become more widespread later today into Monday as low pressure winds up across the region. Here is how the NAM looks during this time..
This Evening
Monday Morning
If you live in an area prone to flash flooding… please keep an eye on things through Monday. Once this low passes to our east… cooler weather will move in as scattered showers linger.
Have a great Sunday and take care.
Thanks Chris! Will do!
Thanks Chris.
Thank you, Chris!
Thank you for the update Chris!
We had a wild storm come through here yesterday evening that scared me. 🙂
I hope we don’t have a repeat of that today or tomorrow.
Have a good Sunday Chris and everyone, and everyone stay safe.
had some light rain that didn’t even register on the rain gauge yesterday
wonder what the flipper floppers will do today 😉
Well, we certainly did see the heavy rain yesterday. got caught out in it as the storm we got seemed to come out of nowhere. Heavy lightning and lot of wind, too.
Water was running in the ditchlines, and overflowed them out onto the main highway, and made for lots of ponding.
Hope today is not a repeat…we don’t need that. Have a safe Sunday, all.
Thanks, Chris.
today is going to get rough as far as MODERATE to HEAVY RAIN GOES, ANDY I dont know how u didnt get any rain yesterday unless u live in a cave.lol
