Good Wednesday. Our round of strong thunderstorms and torrential rains is now rolling across northern Kentucky and is causing some problems. Flash Flood Warnings are out for much of this area and some of the storms have been severe. This line is slowing sinking southward as individual storms move northeast.

The Storm Prediction Center may put out a watch soon for much of central and eastern Kentucky. While the severe threat is there… the greatest threat may be from torrential rains that can produce flash flooding. Up to 4″ of rain will be possible in some areas and that will be more than enough to cause high water issues.
