Good Monday everyone. Here is hoping each of you had a great Easter Holiday Weekend. The weather was about as good as you can get for the first weekend in April. Now… we get set for yet another burst of some summer temps over the next few days.

The nose of this very warm air will be moving in here today and will likely have a few scattered showers and thunderstorms with it. You will be able to follow that stuff here…

Temps today will be a little tricky because of the whole showers verses sun thing. Needless to say… it will be on the warm side either way.

The real deal warmth returns for Tuesday into Wednesday as southerly winds crank up once again. High temps will soar well into the 80s once again under mainly sunny skies.

A big time cold front will approach the region from the west late Wednesday night into Thursday. This will likely bring a line of showers and storms through here. Depending on the timing of this frontal passage… strong or severe storms are a possibility and is something we will need to watch.

This front will have some much colder air working in behind it and you can see that very well here on the NAM for Thursday Morning…

That will lead to quite a chill down for Friday as readings will likely go from summer back to early spring levels with 50s for highs looking very possible.

Never fear… I see another surge of warmth coming in for late next weekend into the following week.

Have a great Monday and take care.
