Good Sunday to one and all and Happy Easter. The weather for this holiday is looking nothing short of great with partly sunny skies and mild temps. This should make for some great Easter egg hunts across the area.
Let’s get to the holiday version of the headlines…
1. Today will feature the sun and breezy weather as temps warm toward the lower 70s.
2. Monday will feature a warm front moving northward through the region. This will likely produce some scattered showers or thunderstorms along it and that is something we have to watch for. Here is the GFS for late Monday..
3. Tuesday will be the best weather day of the week as temps surge into the 80s under mostly sunny skies.
4. A strong cold front will make a run at us later Wednesday. Warm and windy conditions will be noted just ahead of this front. As it crashes in here… showers and some booming storms will be around.
5. A decent dip in the temp department is likely toward the end of the week behind the above mentioned front.
Have a Happy Easter everyone and take care.
Happy Easter Chris and to all the blogger family!
What a beautiful sunny day.Happy Easter Chris and family and to all my blog family.
i don’t get what the nws in louisville is looking at. they said they don’t expect severe weather wednesday into thursday. I talk about this on my site. just click on my name.
Using LEX normals, the April average temp. for the month is about 54.5 degrees. In these first four days…I’ve got 64.5 degrees for an average at my house. This is definitely odd weather and if we crash back to normal a lot of folks are going to be disappointed!
Happy Easter to everyone.
Hope this week is good for everyone.
I can live with 60s and am simply glad that 30s for highs are done for about 7 months or so.
