Good Saturday everyone and thanks for dropping by the blog. As you know… I have been putting in a ton of hours on the blog over the past few months and I need to decompress some. I am going to use today as the day. I think you guys should too. haha

I will still throw an update if needed later today if needed. I will give you guys some headlines to chew on…

1. Today will feature some clouds moving in with the threat for a sprinkle in some areas. Radar will look threatening but it will be more bark than bite…

2. Highs today will reach the upper 30s and low 40s in the north with readings well into the 40s in the south and west.

3. Sunday will see more clouds and highs in the middle 40s. There will also be the chance for a late day shower.

4. The low moving in Monday will bring plenty of showers to the area. Highs will again warm into the 40s and winds will begin to gust up during the late day hours as colder air moves in.

5. That cold air will take hold Monday night and Tuesday with snow showers becoming likely.

6. Their will be another system rounding the bend of the eastern trough by Wednesday and Thursday that we will have to keep an eye on for a possible snow maker.

7. Regardless of that… the pattern will be much colder and will produce frequent snow showers and squalls if nothing else.

8. The first few weeks of March will be cold and will have the potential to produce some big winter events across the eastern half of the country.

Given all that… I need to rest up some. Have a great Saturday and I will be updating more through the weekend… just not as often as normal.

Take care.
