Good evening, gang. Thunderstorms are increasing across western Kentucky and will zip across the rest of the state this evening into the overnight. This action is ahead of a powerful low pressure working into the Great Lakes. That storm drags a strong cold front across our region.
In looking at the setup as we head into the evening, a few strong storms are possible, but nothing about this is exactly screaming severe. With or without storms… gusty winds will be the main player and could reach 40mph at times tonight and Thursday.
This pattern is just getting cranking and it has a lot of ugly on it over the next few weeks. Wild, wild, wild. I will talk more about that later tonight. In the meantime, I have you all set to do some storm tracking…

Enjoy the evening and take care.
That’s such a tease Chris Bailey! Not fair. I’m a teacher, and now I have to stay up until after you late night post.
Really!?! I love weather and you say it gets ugly over the next few weeks…. That’s not fair to make us wait!!!
I hope so! Lately, the weather has boring, boring, boring…typical of fall though!
Dynamic cooling a possibility with power house system for next week…….
