Snow showers are quickly moving across central and eastern Kentucky this evening. We will continue to see those overnight and this will likely lead to some travel problems early Friday. Here is a radar to track the snows…

Here is what I am thinking for the overnight and early Friday morning period for snowfall…

Once the first batch of snows move through… snow showers and a few squalls will develop later tonight. Keep in mind… we are dealing with SNOW SHOWERS so we will see fairly big swings in accumulations over a small distance. You can go from a dusting to as much as an inch over a short distance.

Temps overnight will fall into the low 20s meaning slick travel will be likely early Friday. This should be enough to cause some school kids to get a rare November snow day. Highs Friday will stay in the low 30s with gusty winds and a few passing flurries.

I will update the rest of the forecast with my normal post later tonight so be sure to check back. Until then… use this blog to post your weather conditions. Also… if you have any pics or videos… please send them to me at chrisbaileyweather@yahoo.com and I will get them on the blog. The videos can be uploaded to you tube and I will insert them in the blog.

Take care and I will see you tonight for talk of more fun and games!
