Good evening, all. We’re rolling into the weekend and watching a potent storm system rolling toward Kentucky. This system is going to bring about some huge changes over the next few days as winter starts to flex some serious muscle.

The real change starts Saturday night in the west and rolls eastward into Sunday morning. That’s when gusty winds and crashing temps change the rain to snow. Watch the progression on the GFS…

Temps drop into the 20s from west to east and that may create some icy spots on area roads. Light accumulations of snow could also add to that. Winds will be very gusty and make it feel like it’s in the teens most of the day.

Enjoy the evening and take care.
