Hi everyone! Our radars have been lighting up with something strange overnight. We are getting sketchy reports that this may be some sort of unidentified liquid. Some of the old timers used to call it RAIN!!!

A cold front is marching across the state with scattered showers and thunderstorms. Check out the radars…

Please keep in mind those are updating radars so the rain may or may not be there depending on when you are looking. Some areas are likely to pick up some decent totals to end what has been a VERY dry month across the state. Highs on this Tuesday will be in the low 70s ahead of our front. Winds will be a bit gusty as well.

MAJOR changes coming for the first several days of October with temps that will be well below normal. Some areas could even squeeze out another shower or two the next few days… especially in the north. Highs in the low to mid 60s will be with us Wed and Thu. Lows will be upper 30s to low 40s in many areas with the potential for thermometers to drop a little more. That and our frost threat is all about having clear skies and light winds. DO NOT believe anyone who says this air mass cannot produce frost because it certainly can!! That does not mean it will because you have to have clear overnight skies and relatively light winds for frost to form!

Our weekend looks AWESOME right now. I will talk more about our cold shot… the weekend and a look ahead toward some more October stuff with my next post.

Take care everybody!
