Good afternoon, folks. The models are still pointing toward two systems of interest showing up after the arctic outbreak of the next few days.
The first arrives Tuesday night and Wednesday with snow…
The second, stronger system shows up on Friday and could bring all kinds of winter weather to this region…
We will see how it plays out, but there is a lot to track over the next week.
I will update all this later this evening. Your tracking tools will bridge the gap…
Take care
Tonights Eastern Kentucky snow? Vanished?
Pretty much. 12z GFS and 12z NAM says nothing to see here.
Just watch the radar at this point. Kinda like the rains that Southeastern KY got yesterday.
Thanks, Mr Bailey, for the updates when they’re warranted! Rodger in Dodger
Wednesday system looking to be a general 1-4 inch snowfall as it stands now.
Yeah, I agree about the 1-4″ . Right now it looks more of a Western/Central Kentucky event getting the brunt of precip. It is still pretty far out though, for too many speculations.
Just more wasted dry cold. The Wednesday system will disappear or warm up just enough to rain.
Wed clipper looking good for much of KY. If we can get the Thurs-Fri storm to track through mid-south, it could be a BINGO! week for many of us! Rodger excited to have wintry events to watch! Rodger in Dodger!
