Good evening, everyone. Seasonally cold air is back in the bluegrass state, but it’s full steam ahead toward a big warm up for the weekend. Enjoy it because it all comes crashing down next week.

Much milder air surges in this weekend with temps deep into the 50s with 60 possible. Winds will be very gusty and those gusts will really increase early next week as a powerful storm rolls our way. This could put us in the line of fire for high winds and thunderstorms as it rolls through here…
That’s the kind of front that can have a 40 degree temperature drop behind it. That also introduces a very cold pattern back into the country…

Chris, just wondering if you heard that TWC lost one of their Mets in a car accident, Nick Wiltgen. He was there 15 years as a senior digital meteorologists. Sad under the circumstances. Think it was ruled a suicide.
