Good Tuesday afternoon folks. I have a quick blog update for you to show some cool stuff from our Tropical Storm that is over Florida. This is a thing of beauty as it has developed an eye over land! Check out the radar…
That thing is heading right over Lake Okachobee!! Here is the sat shot…
It is farher south than the models are showing so we shall see just how much of an impact this will have on the overall track.
Watch Fay explode once it gets back over the warm waters of the Atlantic. My fear is this thing grows into a major hurricane and stalls out near the coast.
I will update later this evening. Take care.

Thank Chris…amazing views from the radar and satellite. Keep us posted.
Chris that is a thing of beauty to watch.I have a question how can the eye develop over land?????? Have you ever saw that before?????
People here in Jacksonville seems a little more worried now then we were yesterday. Mainly because it is actually getting stringer over land and our news said it could develop into a hurricane if it gets in to twaters south of Daytona which looks like it might. Some schools here are cancelling thir first day of school here and ours might be cancelled on Friday.
Little more worried,
Jake

land is turning out to be fay’s friend, not a good sign for those in the sav/jack area. My thinking is the mositure and a cold front meet over us sunday.

We just got issued a Tornado watch to go along with our Tropical Storm Watch, Tropical Storm Wind Watch and Flood Watch. I am finding the NOAA weather radio I got at Kroger after the bad storms in Kentucky in February very useful here in Florida.
Just south of us is now under a Hurricane Watch, I figure we probably will be later today or tomorrow.
No, sorry, we are also in that Hurricane Watch. From Flagler Beach up to Brunswick,GA.
Jake I was in hurricane Erin 1995 I believe, in Daytona Beach. We were rockin and rolling don’t want to be in another stay safe and don’t let you guard down where exactly on you???
Sorry i meant where are you???

I am in northern St. Johns County 18 miles from the beach. St. Augustine is the major city in our county but, Jacksonville is closer to us and is where we do our shopping and stuff like that. Jacksonville has closed schools for tomorrow and Thursday. Wind keeps picking up here. Our rain is suppose to come tonight we had a small band come through 1130am.
