More will continue to develop as we go through the day with damaging winds and large hail being the main concern. The Storm Prediction Center has us in the Slight Risk area.
They were close to upgrading to a Moderate risk but stuck with the slight.
Heavy rains and dangerous lightning will be a problem as well so please keep an eye out on the latest weather conditions in your area.

Thanks for the update, Chris. Just watched Todd on the noon news. Do you think this is going to wind uyp being a widespread event for the whole eastern half of the state before all is said and done? Just wondering. Also, how about YOUR area? Are you guys looking to see strong storms, too?
And one more question…from different sources, I have seen different opinions. So I am asking you….is the chance for more severe or strong storms tonight, or tomorrow? Just askin’. Thanks in advance.
HEy Coffeelady… I think our shot at storms down here will be tonight and tomorrow. But we can hope those storms will reach our area today to so it will knock the heatwave in the face..

School starts tomorrow for my kiddos, fall is just around the corner, and believe it or not Christmas decorations go on display later this month at Wal-Mart.. so winter is just around the corner…ahhh!!! I can see the first flakes now…and no I’m not looking in the mirror…LOL…LOL..LOL…………..

Tim is it that hot at your house? my temp is 79 after the rain.I cant wait for the Christmas decorations I kill my husband.I am like Clark on christmas vacation.I am also like Clark on Vegas vacation came out of the casino’s broke lol.I like to sit by my husband in Vegas because hes lucky(he got me didn’t he lol)and when he wins i just reach over and get part of his winnings oops my bad don’t tell him lol!!! Hey all! I was so grateful for the clouds and rain today! It certainly helped the heat dilemma at my work today. I liked seeing the radar of the rain headed for central ky. this afternoon since I wasn’t able to follow it from my work! That’s what I would have been doing had I been home! Thanks for that Chris!
Tomorrow will be an interesting day for the kids first day of the new school year. I pray all will be safe. As far as the weather, I look for a good soaking, but not the additional problems that may come with it.
