Good evening once again gang. A line of very strong storms continues to rapidly roll eastward into the Lexington metro area. This line has produced wind damage to our west as gusts have reached near 70mph. While the strongest cells had been weakening out a bit… it would appear they are trying their best to flare back up as of 6:30 this evening.
Areas from Grant Co southward to Mercer Co and points east from there will see the brunt of the strong storms over the next hour. This will include the Lexington metro area.
I will update as needed.
