Good Monday to one and all. We have another cold front on top of the region today, and this is bringing another shot of rain to the region. As we track the drops, we’re also putting out an all points bulletin on Spring. With so many people searching for it, we are bound to find it… Right?

Temps today could spike deep into the 60s and low 70s ahead of our front. It’s not going to rain all day, but scattered showers and thunderstorms will be noted. The best rain chance arrives this evening as the front slams in here. Track away…

Temps behind this front will drop into the low and middle 30s by Tuesday morning. Gusty winds will be noted (shocking) with afternoon highs only in the 50s.

Readings should drop below freezing by Wednesday morning with many areas in the upper 50s for afternoon highs.

From here, temps do start to look more and more like they should this time of year. The pattern is rather blocky, but should find our region in between the nasty conditions…

GFS

As long as that setup holds, our temps should really begin to warm. Look at the highs from the WeatherBell GFS…

GFS Temps 2

Those numbers keep warming into Monday and Tuesday…

GFS Temps 3

I like it!!

Enjoy the changes out there today and take care.
