Good Thursday, weather weenies. Showers and thunderstorms will be on the increase over the next few days. These storms will usher in much cooler air for the second half of the weekend. This could send our temps into the upper 40s for the first time in months. 🙂

Today will be another steamy one with late day showers and storms working in from the west. A few of those could be strong in the west and north. These storms will continue to pick up the pace tonight into Friday as they become a little more widespread. Locally heavy rainfall will be a good bet for some.

The actual cold front doesn’t move in until late Saturday. That will have another line of showers and storms along and ahead of it. Some of those could also be on the strong side as winds really gust up.

Temps behind this front drop deep into the 50s by Sunday morning. The air showing up on the models is a little bit cooler than before…

Monday will see more sunshine and pleasant weather with upper 70s to low 80s. That nice weather continues into Tuesday as temps head back into the 80s.

Another system approaches from the west by Wednesday with the potential for more showers and thunderstorms. We may also have a couple of tropical systems to watch at the same time. One off the southeast coast with another in the Gulf…
