Good evening, gang. I promised to drop by for a quickie up date and I am a mean of my weather word… most of the time. 🙂

No changes on the overall setup this weekend with freezing temperatures each morning and sunny, but chilly days. Get set for the 20s the next few mornings.

Upper levels systems will impact our region early next week, but won’t bring a lot of moisture in here. There could be a shower or two around at some point, with the best chance coming later Tuesday and Wednesday.

After that zips through here, temps will rebound quickly as gusty southwesterly winds crank next Thursday and Friday. That sets the stage for a big temperature drop as a cold front moves in late Friday and early Saturday…

That setup has a chance to give us a line of thunderstorms followed by a 30 degree or greater temperature drop. Can we get some flakes to wrap in on a northwesterly wind flow? It’s too soon to tell, but there is certainly the possibility if the winds set up correctly. Next weekend looks cold! For fun, the GFS Wind chill forecast for next Sunday morning…

The individual members from the GFS Ensembles continue to be almost evenly split on snow around here over the next few weeks. Here’s what they look like through Thanksgiving weekend…
