Cold air then crashes in behind this front…
That means the potential for snowflakes to show up as early as late Saturday evening into the wee hours of Sunday morning. Northwest wind will then create flurries and a few snow showers on Sunday, especially in the east…
Sunday is just a COLD day and you should take the under on the computer model forecast numbers. Wind chills will make it feel much, much colder.
Speaking of much colder, we find the operational models finding the cold air again for Wednesday and Thanksgiving…
I’m seeing early signals for an eastern US winter system taking shape next weekend into early the following week.
Updates come your way later today. Make it a good one and take care.
Thanks Chris! Interesting times!
The Eastern Storm will probably not effect the majority of Kentucky.
Then again you cannot be a player without any action.
Thanks Chris! Batten it down everyone, its about to get windy! Have a great afternoon everyone!
Migraine sufferers are not going to like this storm system.
Then again, we might all get a headache in one way or another if these winds affect our power grids and disrupt our football games and pizza night or worse… although right now I can’t think of anything worse.
Stay safe guys and gals.
Mike I leave in Southern Ohio and my electric went off the other day and I played my 55 inch flat screen and box off of my 1000 watt inverter. I bought it on ebay for around $80.00 or so. I have it in my truck. With a 1000 watt inverter you have to wire it straight to your battery through a fuse. I can run a 3/8 electric drill with it. You can use it for a lot of things in a pinch. With this winter weather coming it might come in handy.
I would not even consider getting excited for a winter weather event until a couple days away.
