Good Saturday everyone and welcome to a weekend of change. Our weather has been feeling a lot like the middle of Summer of late and that is coming to an abrupt halt over the next few days. Our temps will go in reverse as we go for more of a March look and feel for a while.

Low pressure is working eastward today and is bringing rounds of showers and some thunderstorms to the region. Once this low goes by to our east… MUCH colder air will move in for the next several days as a huge cutoff low pressure sits and spins over the Ohio Valley. This will bring some real deal chill our way that will stick around for several days.

Readings today will generally be around 70 or so then start to fall off later today from west to east as our low goes by.

The NAM is really going crazy with the temps the next few days. You may want to sit down as you look at this temp map from the model…

Here is hoping the model is way on the low side with the temps… either way… the next several days aren’t going to be very nice as our temps will be WELL below normal for a while.

Showers will be on and off into the middle of next week and this will add to our misery. Speaking of showers… you can track the stuff out there today…

We should see a BIG TIME warm up by next weekend as our pattern takes on a warmer overall look for the last few weeks of May.

Have a great Saturday and take care.
