Good afternoon everyone. A significant severe weather outbreak is looking more and more likely later today into Monday across the entire state. This threat includes tornadoes… damaging winds and hail.

Scattered thunderstorms are developing across the region this afternoon and will continue into the evening. Some of these could become severe. The main action will move in from the west late this evening into the overnight. These storms would then continue to roll eastward across the state into Monday.

This may turn into a widespread damaging wind event across the state and much of the Ohio and Tennessee River Valleys. Here is the latest from the Storm Prediction Center for today…
