Good Saturday everyone and thanks for dropping by KWC. Our squall line of thunderstorms behaved about like I thought it would last night as it lost steam as it rolled into central and eastern Kentucky. It did provide another round of soaking rains for many areas. Now comes a gorgeous period of early October air.
Let’s break it down…
– Showers and storms will be around early today in central and eastern Kentucky. Dry air will work in from west to east and the rain will push east of the state during the mid and late afternoon hours.
– Temps today will be awesome with highs near 70 in the central and east with low and mid 70s west.
– A weak system will dive in from the northwest on Sunday and may drop a few sprinkles or a light shower.
– Temps the next few days will continue to run on the pleasant side of things with highs low and mid 70s and lows in the upper 40s and low 50s.
– Thermometer readings will warm toward the low 80s by the second half of next week. There could be a cold front approach the region by the end of the week.
– I am eyeing a possible early season blast of real deal chill toward the end of the month.
That’s all you guys get from my overworked brain. 🙂 Here’s your regional radar to track today’s rains on out of town…

Have a great Saturday and take care.
The wind is roaring out of the northwest right now. Leaves are flying past my window. I will have to break out the rake for the first time in many months! It suddenly sounds like autumn.
This will make for excellent walking weather once the rain gets out of here. 🙂
heavy rain here right now with some pretty good wind!!!!!
