Good afternoon, everyone. We have rounds of heavy rain and storms rumbling across the state. This action is all part of a soggy setup that can deliver too much rain to some areas through the upcoming weekend.

Many areas have already picked up an inch or two of rain with more to come. For that reason , A Flash Flood Watch is out for much of the state into Friday…

I suspect additional watches will take us into the weekend as the next rounds of showers and storms rumble in here.

The models show several inches of rain through the weekend…

EURO

GFS

Keep in mind, models don’t handle thunderstorms very well so much higher totals will occur in some areas.

Tropical Storm Isaias is heading toward the east coast of Florida and may work all the way up the eastern seaboard…

The EURO continues to show this running the coast with a deep trough on top of us…

That’s a lot of well below normal temps through early August.
