Good evening, folks. I wanted to drop by for a very quick update on one wild run of the GFS. This doesn’t mean I fully endorse this by any means, but it’s post worthy. 🙂
Check out this monster storm from late Sunday through Tuesday…
Look at the fully phased system…
And the wind gusts…
This run got my attention because it looked like the Thanksgiving weekend Great Appalachian Snowstorm from 1950…
National weather outlets are now beginning to take notice to the potential storm system…
While key uncertainties remain, a strong storm may develop early next week that could lash the East with wind-whipped rain and blanket parts of the Midwest with #snow. https://t.co/tgTpVEYNcn pic.twitter.com/AI7M5VpxaJ

The weather maker that could cause it is still out over the Pacific Ocean, but if it comes together the way meteorologists expect nearly one-third of the country could face impacts. https://t.co/3AgA08KG3t

Again, this is just something for us to watch at this point, but the next few days are going to be fun!
Enjoy the rest of the evening and take care.
