Good Saturday, everyone. It’s another colder than normal, but sunny and dry day across the bluegrass state. As we roll through the rest of the weekend into early next week, we find a much warmer pattern taking shape for next week. I still don’t think this is a true start to spring as Old Man Winter may show up around the middle of the month.
Highs today range from the middle 40s to middle 50s depending on where you are.
After another frosty start on Sunday, temps recover to the 50s for many and may hit 60 in the west. The numbers from there take off through the middle of the week and may hit 70.
Much colder air may then surge in later next weekend into early the following week. You can see that on the EURO temp departures from normal…
Showers and thunderstorms may accompany this temp change by the end of the week and this shows up well on the European Model. This run also shows a winter threat at the end of the run…
Rainfall totals from the EURO show some hefty totals late in the week ahead.
I will try to throw you another update later today. Make it a sensational Saturday and take care.
