Good Thursday to one and all. Our super slow-moving upper low continues to spin into the region today, bringing more of the same kind of weather we’ve seen for the past few days. Heavy rain producing showers and storms continue to put down heavy rainfall for many. As we look deeper into the weather crystal ball, we find a better setup for next week.
At this point, I’m not going to spend a lot of time on the present setup because you guys already know the drill. These rounds of showers and storms can put down enough rain to cause local high water issues to develop through Friday. Here are your radars…
As the low moves away, warmer air takes control for the weekend with temps deep into the 80s. It looks windy and muggy as we await the arrival of a cold front later Sunday and Monday. That will bring some additional storms ahead of a blast of very pleasant air behind it. Again, that’s a setup more like September than June. Highs in the 70s and lows in the 50s should be with us for a couple of days. The GFS is forecasting temps closer to 50 for lows…
I will take that and run with it. 😎
Have a good one and take care.
It could be worse. Wasn’t there a June almost 20 years ago with highs in the 50s?

Other than some drizzle it has not rained in BG!! My son has been at WKU baseball camp and all of us parents were worried about a week of rain, but have been pleasantly surprised!! And the cloud cover has made it not be miserable for the kiddos!! Can we get one more day (last day of camp) with no rain?!
MADE IT ALL FOUR DAYS!!
We been lucky to dodge the heavy rain here in Union Co. as well by Bgbecky
