Good Saturday to one and all. It continues to be a very active start to the weekend with rounds of severe storms and heavy rains targeting the region. The Friday night storms caused all kinds of issues in the region and some of those carry over into today.

Flash flooding and wind damage have been common with the Friday night storms and this lingers into this morning. The northern half of the state has been hardest hit and that looks to be the case again today. Once the morning stuff clears out, we may see another complex of strong to severe storms working in later today. Here’s the current Severe Weather Outlook from the Storm Prediction Center…

Again, not everyone sees storms today. Outside of the storms, temps are back into the typical summer range.
