Good evening, everyone. It’s a breezy and cold November DAY in the bluegrass state as we begin our Thanksgiving Week. It’s a week featuring a much more active pattern that gives us the shot at some winter weather later this week into the traditional weekend.

The next system to impact us comes in the form of a Thanksgiving cold front. This will bring widespread rain from west to east and the possibility that cold air catches the back edge of the rain giving us some flakes Thursday night and early Friday.

The NAM only goes through 1am Friday and shows this chance…

The Canadian gives us a better shot and also

The EURO gives eastern Kentucky a better chance than anyone else…

The GFS? Not so much…

That’s a much colder setup and we have another system or two to drop in behind that over the weekend and early next week.

The Canadian shows some rain and snow Sunday into early Monday then a flake chance a few days later…

The EURO has a similar look with the firsts system, but it’s not buying into the second system…

The GFS is in the ballpark, but the progressive bias is kicking in…

Enjoy the rest of the evening and take care.
